PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors at its meeting on Thursday, July 21, 2016 will hold a public hearing to consider the lease of public property for agricultural purposes. The proposed lease would require the payment of rent in the sum of $1,080.00 annually and the lease shall have a term of 5 years. The property is shown as Tax Map Parcel 21-01-083 and 21-01-083D.

A copy of the proposed lease is on file in the Office of the County Attorney and the Office of the County Administrator, Isle of Wight Courthouse, Isle of Wight County, Virginia, and are available for public inspection. Any person desiring to be heard in favor of, in opposition to, or to express his views with respect to, the proposed lease may appear before, and be heard by, the Board during the Public Hearing section of the public meeting in the Robert C. Claud, Sr. Board Room, Isle of Wight County Courthouse, Isle of Wight, Virginia. The public meeting section of the meeting begins at 6:00 p.m.
