Angela L. Britt Darden

FRANKLIN — Angela Latrise Britt Darden, 51, formerly of Norfolk, departed this life peacefully on July 11, 2016.

She was born in Franklin to Hallieweese Turner Britt and the late George Edward Britt.

She was passionate certified nursing assistant and loved helping others.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a son, Michael Darden Jr. and a daughter, Demetrius Darden, both of Norfolk; her mother, Hallieweese Britt of Norfolk; grandmother, Erma Turner of Franklin; one sister, Ruby Ricks (Melvin) of Franklin; five grandchildren, Denisha Smith, Shakera Boone, Derrick Jones Jr., Amil Darden and Azaria Higdon, all of Norfolk; one nephew, Melvin Ricks Jr. of Hampton; Don Harrison (fiancé) of Norfolk; a very special aunt and caregiver, Mary Britt of Franklin; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

The homegoing celebration of her life will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday in Engram Funeral Home Chapel.
