Investigation leads to arrest warrant

The investigation regarding the robbery that took place at Love’s Travel Center several days ago has led the Franklin Police Department to issue an arrest warrant for a Franklin native, Broderick Antonio Beale, 23, of the 100 block of Artis Street.
According to Capt. Tim Whitt with the Franklin Police Department, on July 29, officers were notified of an event at approximately 12:49 a.m. at the travel center. A female victim was withdrawing money from the ATM when she noticed a male subject watching her. As she was paying for her items at the cash register, the suspect attacked her and grabbed her wallet.
The victim struggled with the suspect, but he managed to get her wallet from her before feeling the store.
Beale is described as a black male, 5-foot 5-inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information as to the location of Beale is asked to call the Franklin police at 562-8575 or Franklin Crime Solvers at 562-8599. Information that leads to an arrest could earn the caller a cash reward while remaining anonymous.
