COURTLAND — Mary Elizabeth Ferguson, 73, passed away on Sept. 12, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Mattie Edmondson, and a son, Charles Arthur Ferguson Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles Arthur “Gator” Ferguson; two daughters, Cindy F. Merrick of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Julie F. Forrester of Wylie, Texas; one sister, Fay E. Anthony of Lake Alfred, Florida; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be private.
