The chatter on the internet is that the famed Swedish quartet, ABBA, will reunite for a project sometime this year or next. But until that happens, fans must content themselves with tribute bands such as ABBAFab.
The members will present a multi-media program that includes some of the best songs of the 1970s and 1980s: “SOS,” “Waterloo” “Fernando” “Dancing Queen” and “Knowing Me, Knowing You.”
Their music is suitable for all ages, so bring grandma and the grandkids to sing along with ABBAFab.
This show will be on Wednesday, Oct. 11, starting at 7:30 p.m., in the auditorium of Southampton High School.
Nancy Rowe, the association director, urges regular members to re-subscribe as well as new people to join up. The cost is $50 per adult; $10 for students.
Contact Rowe at 653-2498 or Sandy Holloman at 653-2149 for details or if you have concerns about any cancellations because of inclement weather.
