What do you say about a man like Sol Waite Rawls Jr.?

If it were up to him, the answer would be absolutely nothing.

The depth and breadth of Mr. Rawls’ accomplishments is staggering, and the amount he gave in terms of both his time and resources to this community is incalculable.

Yet he would have preferred no one knew of his extensive involvement in philanthropic endeavors and community service.

And he certainly would not approve of us heaping praise upon him here.

To that end, we will merely say thank you, Mr. Rawls.
