Lady Broncos face against rivals on courts

The 2018 Tri-Rivers District Girls’ Singles & Doubles Tennis Tournament took place at Franklin High School on Monday and Tuesday. The tournament was directed by Mona Sumblin and Dave Lease, athletic director.
In the singles competition, No. 1 Seed Caroline Fowler of Southampton defeated the No. 4 Seed Ayana Mabry of Franklin, 6-2, 6-0. No. 2 Seed Skylar Princiotta of Windsor defeated the No. 3 Seed Genesis Martinez of Brunswick, 6-3, 6-2.
Caroline Fowler defeated Skylar Princiotta, 6-0, 6-0 in the championship round.
In the doubles competition, No. 1 Seed Caroline Fowler & Brianna Combs of Southampton defeated the No. 4 Seed Ayana Mabry and DeAnna Freeman-Mayberry of Franklin), 6-1, 6-0. No. 2 Seed Skylar Princiotta and Sheena Virden of Windsor defeated the No. 3 Seed Genesis Martinez and Bryanna Williams of Brunswick, 6-2, 6-3.
Fowler and Combs defeated Princiotta and Virden, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 in the championship round.
