FRANKLIN
The youth of the Annual Franklin Summer Super Jam kicked off their first field trip of the summer with a trip to the Franklin Bowling Center on Friday. The youth attending the trip were able to bowl two games and enjoy either a hotdog or a cheese pizza served by the center staff.

Weekly trips of the program are scheduled for most of the Fridays for the duration of the program.

The Franklin Summer Super Jam program is sponsored by the Franklin Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Virginia and the Franklin Department of Parks & Recreation, and is opened to all boys and girls ages 6 through 17.

The program is housed at the S.P. Morton Elementary School and is open Monday through Friday. The program will run through Friday, Aug. 17.
