FRANKLIN
Some familiar faces are coming back to serve the citizens of the City of Franklin and Southampton County. Via social media release on July 17, Franklin Hometown Pharmacy run by Ed Canada, Kim Pope, Tricia Davis and Johnny Jones announced their intention to open a location along Armory Drive. The team shared, “We are delighted to be able to care for the community we love, where we have lived, and worked for most if not all of our lives. As an independent pharmacy, we will have the professional freedom we need to take care of our customers while making them feel at home. We look forward to being able to open our doors and say, “Welcome Home.”
Three of the owners of the Franklin Hometown Pharmacy were previously employed at the former Farm Fresh pharmacy.
Mayor Frank Rabil added, “We welcome with open arms Franklin Hometown Pharmacy to our local business community. The drive and spirt of these entrepreneurs is what Franklin is made of. We are thrilled for not only the owners, but also for our citizens and the service that will be available to them.”
Brian Hedgepeth, chairman of Franklin Southampton Economic Development Inc., added, “We are thrilled our team could provide support to the Franklin Hometown Pharmacy team throughout this process. We look forward to the new addition to our business community and the quality of service they will provide to our area.”
Franklin Hometown Pharmacy anticipates a September opening.
