Youth basketball league in third week

The youth group co-ed basketball & cheer games were played on Feb. in J.P. King Jr. Middle School.
Zaveon Bynum of team Ballerz of the 8-10 years of age division was awarded the player of the week award by league commissioner C.C. Cooper.
This new co-ed youth basketball program is open to any youth from the ages of 5 to 18 in the Franklin area that are interested in playing in an organized program. A cheering program is also available for those that are interested.
All games are played on Saturdays at the J.P. King Jr. Middle School gym. Game times are based on the breakdown of age groups with the first game tipping off at 9 a.m. Registration is still open to all that are interested.
This program is sponsored by the Youth Group and the Franklin Department of Parks & Recreation.
