SEDLEY — Thomas Henry “Tommy” Gray Jr. of Sedley passed away on March 13, 2019.

Born on Dec. 21, 1942, in Isle of Wight County, he was a son of the late Thomas Henry Gray Sr. and Elizabeth Jones Gray.

Tommy was an active member of the Ivor Volunteer Fire Department and the Virginia Auctioneer Association. He was the owner and operator of Ivor Auction Store for 23 years.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58-½ years, Daisy May Bartlett Gray; his children, Thomas Henry Gray III (Teresa), Larry Wayne Gray and Susan Marie Morgan (Lance); grandchildren, Jamie Gray (Bruno), Lance Morgan Jr. (Lauren) and Angel Gray Whisenant (Josh); great-grandchildren, Braxton Hargrave, Haley Morgan and Conley Whisenant; brother, Earl Gray; sister, Ann Dickerson; special niece, Donna Rippeth; best friend, Joe Gray; and brother-in-law, Arnold Bartlett.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, in R. W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Wakefield Chapel.

The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, in the funeral home.
