FRANKLIN

The MLK Dance Ensemble performed during the “Art of Healthy Aging” health fair, which took place on April 12 in the Regional Workforce Development Center of Paul D. Camp Community College. The members performed to the music of the Cupid Shuffle and the song, “It’s Time for the Percolator.”

The fair was sponsored by Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia, was attended by seniors from all service areas.

Dr. Dan Hoctor, director of Southampton Memorial Hospital’s Rehabilitation department, was a presenter during the health fair. His topic, “The Balancing Act,” was about seniors, falling and preventing such accidents.
