Nottoway announces its top teacher

Nottoway Elementary School would like to congratulate their Teacher of the Year, Stacey Rodgers.
Mrs. Rodgers is a Pennsylvania native who has been teaching at Nottoway for 14 years. She has experience in teaching grades 2, 3 and 5.
Mrs. Rodgers earned her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary Eeducation from Clarion University and her Master’s of Science degree in curriculum and unstruction from Western Governor’s University.
In addition to being a teacher at NES, she is a member of the leadership team, the math committee, the STEM committee, the yearbook committee, sponsor for the National Elementary Honors Society and instructor for the Safety Patrol.
When she is not in the classroom, Mrs. Rodgers can be found at the ballfield with her husband and three sons, at Tucker Swamp Baptist where she is an active member, or at home crafting cakes for others to enjoy.
Congratulations, Mrs. Rodgers, and thank you for all that you do to make Nottoway Elementary School great!
