FRANKLIN

On Friday, Franklin police responded to Webb Commons on 599 W. Second Ave., in reference to shots fired, according to department spokesman Sgt. Scott Halverson. An anonymous caller advised that they had heard three shots fired and then observed a black Impala head out of the complex and turn onto Armory Drive.

On arrival, officers canvassed the area and recovered shell casings from the parking lot. After canvassing the area no damage was found to vehicles or the apartments.

There are no suspects at this time and the case remains under investigation.
