Amanda C. Jarratt, city manager of Franklin, asked city employees to show solidarity for the recent tragedy in Virginia Beach to pose together for a photo on Monday.

Her suggestion was well received by a diverse mix of employees from many of the departments of the city.

Jarratt stated, “The City of Franklin extends our deepest sympathies and condolences to our friends, colleagues and coworkers at the City of Virginia Beach.”
