NEWSOMS — Clyde Reynolds, 82, passed away on July 15, 2019, in his home.
Born in Jonesville, Virginia, he was a son of the late Lee Reynolds and Eunice Hensley Reynolds, and was also predeceased by two sisters, Roxie Perrigon and Ruby Henley; a brother, Oscar Reynolds; and a stepson, Frankie Winslow.
Clyde was an Army veteran, and a retired mechanic with Drake Tire Company.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing, animals and all of God’s nature.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rhea Winslow Reynolds; three daughters, Darla Reynolds, Teresa Cobb (Steve) and Yvonne Wilkerson (Mark); two sons, Donald and Richard Winslow; two sisters, Virgie Spivey and Renda Beale; one brother, Gene Reynolds; 11 grandchildren, David Sweeny, Alyssa Sweeny, Casey Sinwelski, Shen Primack, Robin Sinwelski, Hunter Winslow, Ryan Winslow, Nathan Cobb (Misty), Eric Cobb, Bailey Wilkerson, Shea Wilkerson; nine great-grandchildren, Charlotte Loeffler, Antonio, Izabella, Valentino and Angelino Barjic, Victoria Sinwelski, Ember Sweeny, and Aiden and Autumn Cobb; and 23 nieces and nephews.
The funeral with military honors will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, in Wright Funeral Home, with Drew Dunn officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home, and suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Boykins Volunteer Rescue Squad.
