Windsor Longhorns finish season as state runner-up

The Windsor Longhorns entered the post season by playing in the 2019 East Zone South Region Virginia State Tournament on June 29 through July 1. The team played a double header on Saturday and again on Sunday against teams from Lynnhaven, Great Neck and Suffolk, finishing 4-0 and advancing to the championship game. After a tough battle, the Longhorns lost 7-5, finishing as the state runner-up.
