FRANKLIN

Franklin’s City Council honored Henri Porter on Aug. 12 with a plaque commemorating his decades of service to the city as the ground maintenance supervisor for Franklin’s Department of Public Works.

Porter began his employment with the city in 1988 and officially retired this month.

He is pictured next to Mayor Frank Rabil, who is holding the plaque, with the other members of Franklin’s City Council.
