ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY

The Virginia Department of Transportation re-opened a portion of Route 620/Scotts Factory Road ahead of schedule after completing a bridge superstructure replacement.

The road closure and detour, which began on Aug. 12, were originally scheduled to continue into September.

The bridge, spanning Champion Swamp, was built in 1976.
