The students of Brooke Crawford’s and Stacy Barnes’ reading classes had the opportunity to transform into surgeons as they studied for their respective upcoming tests: third grade on base words and fourth grade on text features. All of the students wore surgical masks, gowns and gloves while they participated in the activities.
Third grade removed prefixes and suffixes, leaving the base word behind, while fourth grade was busy searching for photographs, headings, bullet points, tables, subheadings and hyperlinks to dissect.
Keep learning and growing, Meherrin Eagles.
