CARRSVILLE — Keith Randall Keeter, 61, passed away on April 11, 2020, in his home.

He was a son of the late Charles O. Keeter Jr. and Mertie “Billie” Williams Keeter; and was also predeceased by a brother, Earl Faison; and his beloved pet, Rambo.

Keith was a 1977 graduate of Franklin High School and was a retired scalesman with International Paper.

After retirement, he worked at Windsor Hardware, and was a member and former president and hunt master of the Delaware Hunt Club, a member of the Bronco Rod and Hunt Club, and was the founder of the “Good Ole Boys Flounder Tournament of Franklin,” which was held on the Eastern Shore for 20 years.

Keith lived for hunting and fishing.

Survivors include two sons, Brandon Keeter (Lauren) and Chad Keeter (Ellie); two grandchildren, Olivia Wilkins and Brayden Keeter; two brothers, Rae Keeter (Betty) and Dean Keeter (Pat); one sister, Nancy Van Horne; one aunt, Cynthia Garris (Wesley); one uncle, Carroll Keeter (Carol); special friend, Nancy C. Caulder, and her children Michael (Christie, Cali and Alaina) and Kimberly Suits (Dustin and Hunter); nieces, nephews; and his two dogs, Rusty and River.

The memorial service will be at a later date.
