Allene W. Parker

FRANKLIN – Allene Wadsworth Parker, 90, passed away June 6, 2020, in the East Pavilion. Mrs. Parker was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, and was a daughter of the late John Sinkler Wadsworth and Edna Taylor Wadsworth. She was also predeceased by her husband, Ramon Emmett Parker.

Allene was a member of Courtland United Methodist Church, Franklin Women’s Club and AARP Club.

Left to cherish her memory are a sister, Evelyn Brady of Durham, North Carolina; a brother, J.C. Wadsworth (Alma) of Pittsboro, North Carolina; and two nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 8, in Magnolia Cemetery, Magnolia, North Carolina, with the Rev. Jerry Sheffield officiating.
