Whether you’re out shopping for necessary groceries or participating in a demonstration, please remember to wear your masks. While Gov. Ralph Northam had opened up Virginia considerably last Friday, that did not mean the novel coronavirus has suddenly disappeared. Would that it were so.
We know full well that no matter how soft the fabric or well-tailored those masks are made, they can be for some people a tad uncomfortable, especially in this heat. But, they’re intended to help stop spread the virus, not torture you.
Also, let’s please remember to give each other a little more room at the store or on the street. Social distancing is another measure that’s proving effective in keeping that virus at bay.
