To the Editor:

There comes a time in every man or woman’s life, when given the events of the day, you have to stand up and do what’s right or accept the evil consequences of your inaction. I recognize my biases. I am a Vietnam veteran. Our nation has fought socialism/communism since the end of WWII. The treasure of our nation, trillions of dollars and the blood of thousands of American soldiers, has been spent.

The Democratic Party has embraced a national platform contrary to our Constitution many have sworn to protect. It is a platform with; No respect for human life. Promoting abortion up to the point of birth. No respect for religious freedom, which comes from God not government. No respect for our right to bear arms and protect our family and nation. It is a platform of redistribution of wealth, higher taxes for all. Socialized medicine, open borders, defunded police and military. They have embraced rioting, anarchy and the destruction of major cities as a tool.

Our own governor has allowed the destruction of parts of Richmond.

I have heard it said you can give your freedom away with a vote, but you will have to take it back with a gun. I pray that is not the case. This evil must be defeated. Please vote like the lives of your children and grandchildren depend on it. Because it does.
