The Chamber Expo we host each November is our signature event. Sadly, we can’t gather together this year, but that won’t stop the Chamber from connecting you to the business community. This 27th annual event has been transformed into a week-long celebration. It all starts online, Monday, Nov. 16 and continues through Saturday, Nov. 21. Each morning at 9:30, tune in to the Chamber’s Facebook or Instagram page to see the HOT DEALS OF THE DAY. Discover the special deals being offered that day only by a variety of businesses. You do not want to miss this lively segment hosted by Chamber volunteers. Businesses will be also be featured several days during the week at noon or 5:30 p.m. Watch our page for updates during the week. Like, comment and share these videos and you will be entered to win a travel backpack filled with ORF amenities along with a $100 travel certificate which can be used for travel on any airline serving ORF: Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Boutique Air, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, Southwest Airlines or United. That would surely be a great start for your future vacation.

The focus of Expo week is to showcase the many goods and services available right here in your hometown. Area businesses offer great customer service and take every precaution to ensure a safe shopping experience such as shipping and curbside pickup. Before you order something from an out-of-town company, give local merchants a chance. You might find just what you need. Supporting local is more important than ever as our businesses have been adversely affected by the pandemic. Our mantra is: “Keep Your Town In Business by Keeping Your Business In Town.” Of every $100 spent at a local business, roughly $68 stays in our local economy. It is vital that we do business locally to strengthen our entire community.

Please engage in your community and support those who support you. It’s the right thing to do.
