FRANKLIN — Mary Betty Vaughan, 84, passed away on Nov. 13, 2020, in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

The widow of Richard Lee Vaughan, she was a former cafeteria manager at Windsor High School and a former receptionist for the Suffolk Health Department.

Left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Toni V. Joyner; two sons, Ricky Vaughan and Keith Vaughan; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Hoyle Green officiating.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 477 Viking Drive, Suite 130, Virginia Beach, VA 23452.
