CARRSVILLE – Frances Pack Boykin, 97, widow of Julius Benson Boykin, passed away on Dec. 30, 2020.

Born in Alcolu, South Carolina, she was a daughter of late George Washington Pack and Mina Theresa Richburg Pack. Frances is also predeceased by five sisters, Mina Brown, Pauline Crawford, Maybelle Cook, Mary Inabinette and Mallie Ridgeway; and three brothers, John, Nelson and George Pack Jr.

Frances was a 1941 graduation of Manning High School in Manning, South Carolina, and a retired private duty certified nursing assistant.

She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Julie B. Jones (Ricky) of Hunterdale; a son, David B. Boykin (Carolyn) of Courtland; a brother, Robert Pack of Belton, South Carolina; a daughter-in-law, Sylvia Boykin of Franklin; three grandchildren, Kyle Boykin (Amy), Heather Boykin and Lori Radcliffe; two great-grandchildren, Haley Marie Boykin and Benson Neil Boykin; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, in Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Warren Johnson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday in Wright Funeral Home, and suggests that memorial donations be made to Beaver Dam Baptist Church, 3593 Carrsville Highway, Franklin, VA 23851.
