COMO, N.C. – Patsy Bailey Parker, 84, went to be with her Lord on Feb. 9, 2021.

She was born in Southampton County and grew up in Como, North Carolina. She was a graduate of Murfreesboro High School and Chowan College. She was retired from Royster-Clark Chemical Company in Conway, with over 20 years of service, as the office manager. Patsy was a longtime member of Buckhorn Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir.
She was predeceased by her husband of 26 years, Madison Parker Jr.; her parents, Olie Majette Bailey and Lessie Hatfield Bailey; three sisters, Olie Mae Culpepper, Doris Joyner Bryant and Brenda Jean Futrell and a brother, C.C. Bailey.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Mia P. Williams and her husband, Chuck of Pinetown, North Carolina; a brother, Wayne Bailey and his wife, Judy of Franklin; two grandchildren, Ashley Alexander and her husband, Richard of Como, North Carolina, Megan Vaughan and her husband, Aaron of Union, North Carolina; and two great-grandchildren, Madison Harper Alexander and Jackson Parker Alexander.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12, in Buckhorn Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bob Deacon officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
