Broncos boys tennis falls 6-1 versus Dragons

Franklin High School’s boys tennis team played host May 13 to Appomattox Regional Governor’s School in another showdown between the squads, with the Dragons achieving victory this time.
The Broncos have had a few matches and losses since facing the Dragons at their home courts at the Country Club of Petersburg. For this return match the Dragons brought their “A” game to Franklin and took out the home team with a score of 6-1.
The Broncos’ only win was the No. 3 singles match between Cameron Ridley, of the Broncos, and the Dragons’ Ellis Knox, who lives in Franklin. Ridley defeated Knox 8-3.
