FRANKLIN – Marvin Earl Crumpler, 83, passed away June 20, 2021 in Consulate Healthcare of Windsor. Born in Isle of Wight County and reared in Southampton County, he was a son of the late Hertford O. Crumpler and Edna Mae Parker Crumpler.

Marvin was a logger and a member of Burdette Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are three daughters, Vhonda Landes, Rhonda Hill and Wanda Crumpler; a son, Marvin E. “Gary” Crumpler Jr.; three sisters, Lillian Gunn, Beatrice Fowler and Irene Bailey; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22 in the Crumpler Family Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Poe officiating. The family will receive friends in Wright Funeral Home from 11 to noon before the service.
