SUFFOLK – Bishop James L. Boone of South Quay Road, Suffolk, passed away Oct. 16, 2021 in Sentara Obici Hospital. A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Oct. 21 from 2 to 6 p.m. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, Oct. 22, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 6508 Cumberland Lane, Suffolk, with Pastor Raphel Elliott delivering the message. The committal and benediction will follow in The Warren Cemetery in Suffolk. Masks are required at all services. Service provided by the professional and caring staff of Wm. M.
