VIRGINIA BEACH – Barbara Clary Babb, 76, passed away Nov. 9, 2021, in her home. Born in Suffolk, raised in Boykins and a longtime resident of Courtland, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Percival “L.P.” Clary Jr. and Jacqueline Gray “GiGi” Clary.

Barbara was a graduate of Southampton High School and Averett College.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving partner, Mark Allen of Virginia Beach; son, Christopher Clary Babb of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Kala Nicole Babb and Aaron Christopher Babb; aunt, Bettie Allen (Irving) of Virginia Beach; uncle, Hugh Gray (Nather) of South Carolina and many other loving family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15 in Beechwood Cemetery in Boykins. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service in Wright Funeral Home in Franklin and suggests that memorial donations be made to any favorite charity.
