SUFFOLK – Pauline Castellow Padgett, 85, widow of Franklin Delano “B.B.” Padgett, passed away Nov. 21, 2021 in Accordius Health at Nansemond Pointe. A native of Suffolk, she was a daughter of the late James Castellow and Maggie Mae Gilbert Castellow. Pauline was a graduate of Holland High School and a member of South Quay Baptist Church. She was a longtime member of the Suffolk Moose Lodge and she loved to dance.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Patricia P. Tyler (Lynn) of Wake Forest, North Carolina; two sons, Franklin D. Padgett Jr. (Kathryn) of Suffolk and Lee Padgett (Natalie) of Yuma, Arizona; four grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 26 in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Lou Ventura officiating. Burial will follow the service in Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24 in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or any favorite charity.
