IVOR – Harding Ashby Blythe Jr., 79, passed away after a long illness on Jan. 11, 2022 in his home with family by his side. Born in Franklin, he was the son of the late Harding Ashby Blythe Sr. and Sallie Mae Cobb Blythe.
Ashby was a retired meat cutter for Redd’s Supermarket and enjoyed playing the guitar.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 19 years, Terri Cross Blythe; Terri’s children, Jennifer Reason, April White (Terry) and D.J. Boone; a sister, Vera Copas (Richard); nine grandchildren, including Brandon Barmer, who he helped raise and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 14 in Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in the Lankford Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Kingdom Impact Ministries.
