DREWRYVILLE – Henry Lee Vick, 95, passed away Feb. 14, 2022 in Southampton Memorial Hospital. Born and raised in Southampton County, he was a son of the late Arthur Davis Vick and Minnie Belle Bryant Vick. He was also predeceased by a sister, Helen Irene Vick and three brothers, Harry, Hinton and Eldridge Vick.

Henry was a farmer and a member of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are a sister, Lois Garrett of Georgia and her children, E.W. Garrett, Becky Hoover and Wanda Hurst; a nephew, Linwood Jarrett and his wife, Penny of North Prince George; nephews, Bill Vick and H.J. Vick and niece, Jane Barnes; several other nieces and nephews; and a special caregiver and friend, Cathy Grizzard.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19 in Capron Cemetery with Pastor David Everett officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service in Wright Funeral Home and a procession to the cemetery will follow visitation. Memorial donations may be made to Thomas Memorial Baptist Church in Drewryville.
