BOYKINS – Lynda Cutchins Daniels, 76, widow of Garland Woodrow Daniels Sr., passed away on Feb. 14, 2022 in her home with family by her side. Born in Southampton County, she was a daughter of the late Arlandon Barham Cutchins and Elsie S

tory Cutchins. She was also predeceased by four sisters, Betty C. Cooke, Mildred C. Steih, Eunice C. Harrell and Frances C. Mumford and two brothers, Gilbert Cutchins and Wallace Cutchins.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Otelia Marie Zimmerman (Nicholas) of Boykins; two sons, Garland Woodrow “Woody” Daniels Jr. (Shawn) and William Landon Daniels (Linda Bell); a sister, Evelyn C. Cutchins (Leroy); three grandchildren, G.W. Daniels III, John Allan Daniels and W. Landon Daniels Jr.; two great-great grandchildren, Kasey Marie Daniels and Bryan Daniels; many nieces and nephews; and her cherished grand fur babies.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20 in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Brooks Gale officiating. Burial will follow in Somerton United Methodist Church Cemetery in Whaleyville. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday in Wright Funeral Home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Boykins Baptist Church.

The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice and Dr. Taylor for their care and kindness given to Lynda.
