FRANKLIN – Michael Duane Ward, 64, passed away March 25, 2022 in Accordius Health at Courtland. Michael worked for the 7-Eleven on Main Street in Courtland and was an avid fisherman. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Ellen Moore Ellis; two daughters, Becky King and Ashley Stover; a son, Matthew Ward; three sisters, LouAnn Wright, Renae Powers and Lisa Williams; two brothers, Al Ward and John N. Ward III; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 1 in Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
