FRANKLIN – Cora Dolores “Miss D” Hinchey, 77, widow of James Allen “Jimmy” Hinchey Sr., passed away March 30, 2022 in her home. Born on July 25, 1944 in Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Preston M. Vernon Sr. and Cora W. Vernon.

Dolores was a graduate of Maury High School and the best cook in the world. She worked for the Park-N-Shop in Franklin.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Darlene; two sons, Jason Jackson and Jimmy Wiseman; a brother, Preston M. Vernon Jr. (Erica) of Victoria, Australia; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild and one on the way.

Services will be private.
