COURTLAND – Wayne Duffy Jones, 72, passed away on April 24, 2022 in Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Franklin, he was the son of the late Howell Derwood Jones and Rachel Griffin Jones.
Wayne was a 1969 graduate of Franklin High School. He was a power plant turbine operator for International Paper and a former D.J. with WYSR.
Left to cherish his memory is a daughter, Courtney Jones Wood; a sister, Carol J. Brock; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
