FRANKLIN – William Edward “Billy” Kentner, 64, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 24, 2022. Billy was born in Metairie, Louisiana and fought a gallant fight with cancer, never

giving up the faith of being healed. Now being fully healed in heaven, Billy is reunited with his child, mother, father-in-law and so many others that have gone on before him.
Billy is survived by his beloved wife, Lesa Marie Chambers Kentner; sons, Joshua William Burton (Emily) of Johns Island, South Carolina, Jeremiah Ryan Burton (Rainie) of Anna, Texas and Jacob Matthew Kentner of Williamsburg; eight grandchildren; four siblings and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Billy had over a 30 year career with the airlines and spent the last 15 years at his dream job with Woodard Realty. He was a long time member of the Rock Church in Franklin and on Fridays enjoyed helping the Rock Church staff clean the school.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, Billy’s birthday at Rock Church in Franklin. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Rock Church School or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
