GFWC Tarrara Woman’s Club observed Earth Day, Clean Rivers Week and Federation Day all in one event by picking up litter in two locations with the help of a member of Boykins Lions Club. Gayle Johnson and Linda Beatty spent two hours each and picked up five large bags worth from the Route 671 intersection to Beechwood Cemetery. Rick Francis picked up litter on Cross Keys Road and filled four large bags. Pictured is Johnson beside five bags of litter collected near the cemetery.
