Capron Elementary School recently presented fourth-grade teacher Tiffany McGee as its 2021-22 Teacher of the Year. 

A school press release continued by noting that McGee has earned the respect and admiration of her students by serving as a role model for them and by always having their best interests at heart. 

“Students love her because she finds creative ways to make the materials accessible to them and stays up to date with the best practices to help enhance instruction,” school officials said. “Mrs. McGee is kind and listens to her students in order to stay connected with them far beyond the time they are in her classroom. She inspires all students to learn, treats everyone fairly and sets high expectations.”

Not only does she interact with students on an instructional level, but she also works to make sure their physical and emotional needs are met as well.  

“Mrs. McGee also has a positive relationship with her colleagues and collaborates with other teachers as well as takes on positions of leadership within our school,” officials stated. “We appreciate the dedication and hard work that Mrs. McGee devotes to Capron Elementary School.”
