FRANKLIN – Janice Lanell Worrell Fatherly, 72, passed away June 19, 2022 in Emporia Health and Rehab. Born on Jan. 23, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Howard Junius Worrell and Janice Joyner Worrell.

Lanell was a 1970 graduate of Southampton High School.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Crystal Simpson of Henrico County; a son, Chris Fatherly; a brother, Carter Worrell; a granddaughter, a grandson and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
