ROANOKE RAPIDS, North Carolina – Billy Brian Simmons Sr., 66, formerly of Courtland, passed away June 17, 2022 in ECU Health Medical Center. Born on Nov. 12, 1955, he was a son of the late Malcolm Davis Simmons and Jessie Mae Davis.

Billy attended Southampton High School and was a long distance truck driver.

Left to cherish his memory is four daughters, Audrey Ward, Caryn Bowerman, Vanessa Simmons and Amanda Simmons; two sons, Billy B. Simmons Jr. and Brian Simmons; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be private.
