FRANKLIN – In loving memory of John Arrington Drewry “The Man In Black”; a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and son. On July 15, 2022, we had to say goodbye to the man who played such a major role in all of our lives. A man that loved his family, his business, his guns, his Jeep, America and black. John could bring a smile to anyone’s face with his quick-witted comments and a filter that was non-existent.
Cambree, Morgan and Blane changed him more than anyone thought possible. Before they could finish saying “Grandpa let’s” he was already ready to go-from taking his teeth out, protecting them or playing dress up in the kitchen, they all adored him.
John loved his wife, Elizabeth; his baby girls, Amanda and Renee; son-in-law, Adam; and his grandkids more than life itself. We know that you loved us all and lived life for us. We will see you at the crossroads.
A memorial service for John will be held at Wright Funeral Home in Franklin on July 22, at 11 a.m. Following the service there will be a reception at Fred’s Restaurant. In lieu of flowers make a donation in John’s honor to the Military Children’s Charity at www.militarychildrenscharity.org.
