Kelly Wiggins and Adam Swindell, of Chesapeake, were married Sept. 10 at The Culpepper Barn in Virginia Beach.

Wiggins is the daughter of Ronnie and Debbie Wiggins, who reside in Southampton County.

The bride’s maternal grandparents are the late Lois Fuesser and the late Charles Fuesser Jr. Her paternal grandparents are Jo Ann Wiggins and the late Jesse Wiggins.

Kelly graduated from Southampton High School in 2011, and she graduated from Old Dominion University in 2015 with a degree in nursing. 

She works as a registered nurse.

Swindell is the son of Mark and Annie Swindell, who reside in Virginia Beach.

The groom’s paternal grandmother is Jean Schimmel, and his maternal grandparents are Richard and Patricia Zucco.

Adam graduated from Ocean Lakes High School in 2010, and he graduated from Longwood University in 2014 with a degree in elementary and middle school education. 

He works as a firefighter in Virginia Beach.

At the wedding, Kristen Wiggins was Kelly’s maid of honor, and the other bridal attendants included Claire Harris, Hannah Handy, Autumn Shands, Chyna Laufhutte and flower girl Nora Schneider.

Ryan Swindell was Adam’s best man, and the other groom attendants included Dylan Roach, Daniel Shands, Ben Thoreson, A.J. Duff and ring bearer Timothy Handy.

The wedding officiant was Josh Blakely, and the wedding coordinator was Lauren at Eloise Events.
