COURTLAND – Perry Frederick “Pudge” Cole Jr., 74, passed away on Dec. 5, 2022 in Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he was a son of the late Perry Frederick Cole Sr. and Dixie Allen Cole.

Pudge was an automobile spray painter for R.J.’s Auto Body and a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 49 years, Anne Parrish Cole; a daughter, Lenise Dozier of Michigan; three brothers, Reginald Cole, Joseph Cole and Russell Cole; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and four cat friends, Poodles, Dixie Grace, Spike and Opie Taylor.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8 in Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Courtland Fire and Rescue or your local animal shelter.
