WALTERS – Elizabeth Taylor Britt, 88, passed away on Jan. 13, 2023 in East Pavilion. She was a daughter of the late Robert Taylor and Minnie Lee Benton Taylor.

Elizabeth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Dubberly (Dave); her son, Franklin Lloyd “Frankie” Britt Jr. (Jean); two grandchildren, Kelly Britt Ellis (Justin) and Nicole Carr Hedgepeth (Matt); three step-grandchildren, Dr. Jessica Dubberly Hoffman (Chris), Nick Dubberly and Elle Dubberly Vickory (James); four great-grandchildren, Eli, Hayes and Huck Ellis and Ella Rae Hedgepeth; and six step-great-grandchildren, Jack, Sam, Max, Mary Channing, Carson and Dub.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17 in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. James H. Hyatt Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Christian Church in Carrsville. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Franklin Congregational Christian Church.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the nurses and staff of East Pavilion and Hospice of Virginia for their love and care.
