Towne Insurance Agency completed the acquisition of Manry Rawls Insurance, a full-service, independent agency headquartered in Franklin. 

The Monday, Feb. 13, TIA news release noted that Manry Rawls, founded in 1872, is one of the oldest independent agencies in Virginia. In addition to personal and commercial insurance offerings, Manry Rawls is a leader in crop insurance in southeastern Virginia and eastern North Carolina.

Manry Rawls operates offices in Franklin, Smithfield, Courtland and Emporia in Virginia and an office in Williamston in North Carolina. 

Manry Rawls will continue operating under its present name and at its present locations for the immediate future.
