NEWSOMS – Minister Otis J. Pope of Thomaston Road, Newsoms, passed away March 7, 2023 in his home. A public viewing will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 3 – 7 p.m. On Sunday, March 12, a celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 30188 Shiloh Road in Boykins with the pastor, Rev. James C. Banks Jr. presiding. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. Service provided by the professional and caring staff of Wm. M.
